Join Stew and Bee on\u00a0<\/b><\/span>Merri Bee Organic Farm,Sunday October 17th 2014 for an introduction to Permaculture .\u00a0<\/b><\/span>We will learn the principals of permaculture which make for a\u00a0<\/span><\/span>resilient<\/span>\u00a0comfortable\u00a0life which cares for Earth and people. We will \u00a0take a <\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span> wander through food forests, some 25 years old, visiting many friendly farm animals along the way. <\/b><\/span>On this<\/b><\/span>extensive guided tour <\/b><\/span><\/span>you will<\/b><\/span><\/span>see more than 90 different mature species of plants that provide fodder, fruit, timber, nuts craft materials or bee forage. Admire the happily grazing free range pigs, sheep, cows and ducks and marvel at the developing bamboo collection. See how nutrients are recycled in this thriving eco system.<\/b><\/span><\/span>We may see a chick hatching or a lamb being born <\/b><\/span><\/span>if we are very lucky.<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/div>\n

Stewart and Bee have \u00a0provided most of <\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span>their<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0own meat, vegetables, fruit, nuts, herbs, condiments, bread and dairy produce for over 25 years and<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b><\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span>are keen to share <\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span>permaculture design principals <\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span>which have really worked <\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span>with you. <\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span>We decided years ago to w<\/b><\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span>ithdraw our support<\/b><\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span>from multinational agribusiness \/ pharmaceutical corporations by simply <\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span>refusing<\/b><\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span> to eat their GMOs, pesticides, food additives, nanno particles, hormones, irradiation, antibiotics , heavy metals ect. <\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span>Industrial food corporations are serving these up to <\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span>most <\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span>of <\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span>us every day<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span>adding huge toxic loads to our air, water and soil . <\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span>But it doesn’t have to be that way. <\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span>Tas<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span>te <\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span>the forgotten flavours of <\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span>compost grown <\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span>fruit, <\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span>nutrient dense <\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span>veges<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span>and animal prod<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span>ucts. We find children really appreciate real food.\u00a0<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span>S<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span>ee<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span>the passive solar human and animal housing, intensive gardens, nursery, \/general plant propagation areas, poultry sheds and runs, compost production, worm farm, wicking bed, <\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span>swales, <\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span>mature rare fruit and nut trees, <\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span>raspberries, wood lots <\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span>and \u00a0<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span>lots <\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span>more. <\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span>Bring appropriate footwear <\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span>and clothing <\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span>for steep hiking in the fresh air of Nannup. <\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span>Cost $75 .00 per adult and $15.00 per child, which includes<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span>\u00a0lunch and teas\u00a0<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>\u00a0\u00a0. Please note you are responsible for your childrens saftey on the farm but we will take all care as well.
