Hi friends and Investors in good health ,
As you can see Ms Jersey is bagging up so we are expecting a calf from her soon. A female jersey was born at Karridale on Friday August 31st to cow Maybeline (ear tag 9713), but 5 days later it died. Stewart was there all day on Monday fencing in the rain and extreme wind which we had for 3 or 4 days. We 3 went down on Thursday planting more trees and found the calf had succumbed, a real blob. This highlights the need for shelter belts somewhat. Planting carrots and onions today.
Our new friend Kantine is pruning the raspberries today.
